Peabody's Improbable History (1959-1963)

M. Peabody et Sherman ont été créés à la fin des années 50 dans Peabody's improbable history, une partie deRocky & His Friends, créé par Jay Ward.

La série a été créée par Jay Ward et Bill Scott. Peabody a été doublé par Bill Scott (Peabody est d'ailleurs nommé d'après chien de compagnie de Scott). Il est largement admis que la voix de fausset de Sherman a été fourni par Foray Juin, ce qui est faux : Sherman a été doublé par l'acteur Walter Tetley, tandis que les personnages historiques mâles ont été faites par Paul Frees.

C'est une série de dessins animés mettant en scène un chien voyageant dans le temps avec son garçon de compagnie, Sherman. Grâce à la "WABAC Machine" de Peabody, ils traverseront l'histoire, et le plus souvent contribueront à rendre les événements différents de la façon dont ils sont représentés dans les livres d'histoire.

Aujourd'hui, les droits de Peabody's Improbable History appartiennent à DreamWorks Classics.

Nautilus, où as-tu trouvé les titres français ? Il me semble que cette série est inédite en France, non ?

Sur le Wikipédia anglais que j'avais momentanément traduit en français peut-être ? ^^' Sinon je vois pas je retrouve pas ^^

Visuellement, c'était vraiment horrible ! Les mouvements répétitifs, les personnages figés, les décors grisâtres, les graphismes.
On peut réellement apprécier le travail fait sur le film sorti cette année.
